The Destiny and The Free will
In a peaceful corner of a village in India, a 15-year-old named Aanya sat under the shade of a large banyan tree. Aanya loved thinking about the big questions of life. One day, while she was lost in her thoughts, she met a wise old man named Ravi, known in the village for his deep wisdom and thoughtful stories.
“Aanya,” Ravi began, “have you ever wondered how our lives are like a journey with four important points?”
Aanya looked curious. “Four points? What do you mean?” she asked.
Ravi adjusted his glasses and began to explain. “Think of your life as a journey with four key points: the Life Point, the Death Point, the Life Destiny Point, and the Free Will Period.”
Life Point: “The first point is the Life Point,” Ravi said. “This is where your journey begins, much like starting a new chapter in a book. You don’t choose where you are born, who your family is, or the initial circumstances of your life. For example, if you are born in a small village in Rajasthan or a bustling city like Mumbai, these are factors you have no control over. It’s like the starting setup in a game that’s already determined.”
Death Point: “Then there’s the Death Point,” Ravi continued. “It’s like the end of the game. Every life has an end, just as every game has a conclusion. We don’t know when it will come, and we can’t change it.”
Aanya was listening carefully. “So those are the fixed points. What about the other two?”
Life Destiny Point: “The next point is the Life Destiny Point,” Ravi explained. “This includes aspects of your early life that you don’t choose, like the school you first attend, the friends you make, or the language and culture you grow up with. If you’re born into a family that speaks Tamil in Chennai or follows certain traditions, these are part of the Life Destiny Point. It’s the setup that’s given to you by your surroundings and family.”
Free Will Period: “Here’s where it gets exciting,” Ravi said with a warm smile. “Once you move past the Life Destiny Point, you enter the Free Will Period. This is the time when you have the freedom to make choices and shape your own path. You can decide what interests you, who your friends will be, and how you want to live your life. It’s like getting to choose your own adventure in a story.”
Aanya’s eyes lit up with understanding. “So, even though I can’t control where I start or when it will end, I can influence what happens in between?”
“Exactly!” Ravi confirmed. “While you can’t choose the starting or ending points of your life, the choices you make during your journey are entirely yours. Your decisions, interests, and actions during the Free Will Period shape your unique story.”
Feeling inspired, Aanya thanked Ravi and walked away with a sense of excitement. She realized that although some aspects of her life were set by circumstances, she had the power to shape her own path and make the most of her journey.
With this new understanding, Aanya was ready to embrace the opportunities ahead, knowing that her choices and actions were what truly mattered in the story of her life.
